About the Course
Winter Tracking is the perfect opportunity to learn more abut the wildlife all around us, and drink some delicious hot pine needle tea, too! You will learn how to identify various animal tracks in the snow, look for other signs of animals including scat and rubbings, and how to record your observations. This course is a snowshoe-based walk over mild terrain and is suitable for children of all ages (provided they are properly clothed and can walk or be pulled in a sled). Dress in layers and bring extra mittens or gloves.
Ari is a Registered Maine Guide, Wilderness First Responder, and trained naturalist. She has been immersed in the natural world since childhood and has a strong set of outdoor skills to help keep you safe, while you explore the wilds of our world.
